About us

IFCO Duct & Air Supplies Pty Ltd was established in 1978, under the guidance of husband and wife team, Frank and Dianne Dodd. The business began operations as an insulation contracting organisation with a distribution agency for air conditioning duct fittings supplied by Heacon Industries.

IFCO had premises in a small factory in Hunter Street, Hornsby and following considerable growth the company moved to a much larger facility at 8 Leighton Place, Hornsby. Further growth followed, particularly on the air conditioning side of the business, and the company moved again to two much larger factories in 45 Leighton Place, Hornsby.

In 1997, the insulation contracting company was sold, and the business began to operate in the air conditioning industry solely. Manufacturing machinery was installed at the Hornsby facility, and IFCO became a fully-fledged manufacturer of flexible ducting. Frank and Dianne’s son Darren joined the business in 1998 following completion of his education, and this father, mother and son team continue to run the operation today.

IFCO manufacturers only the highest quality of flexible ducts in Australia and strictly observes the requirements of Standards Australia and the National Construction Code. The standard of products offered by IFCO, in particular, the high standard of Specitel insulation from CSR Bradford and polyester insulation from CSR Martini, ensures residential and commercial buildings can maintain the correct air temperature via strict thermal insulation usage.
